I have a job where I normally shave 6 days a week and it appears that lately it has been taking a toll on my skin.  It seems like I break out a lot from shaving with a razor every day.  I have used many different razors, but I think it is just too much for my skin shaving 6 days a week every week.

I have noticed that it seems to help my skin significantly if I shave every other day.  Has anyone else had any issues like this?

I am seriously considering just shaving every other day, as I would rather deal with a bit of hair on my face than being constantly broken out.

I'd like to hear other opinions & situations if possible.

Thanks

Geez guy what kinda job do you have where you feel you need to shave everyday? Unless your hair grows a quarter of an inch overnight you don't need to worry about that. Shave once every 3 days if your face is bothering you. Nothing wrong with having a little hair on your face.

Ladies like that 5 o'clock shadow.

I used to shave, but I found it very uncomfortable, so I stopped altogether. I now am growing out my beard; it is much more comfortable, and since I have had facial hair, I have had many more compliments on my looks than I ever did when my face was smooth! I love it and I going to keep the beard from now on!

Well Mark I don't think a little hair on your face ever hurts, particularly with the ladies, as long as you keep it neat. Ladies generally aren't looking for the wolfman but they tend to really love that rugged 5 o'clock shadow.
